BARRY BUTLER - GM and HEAD COACH
The Wolverines are once again excited to have Barry Butler
as our GM and Head Coach for his 5th year. Barry brings with him a vast
amount of hockey knowledge and is committed to the excellence of his
players both on and off the ice. He has managed and coached at all
levels of the game and his resume is loaded with highlights including
being named NAHL Executive of the Year in 2002 (this marked the first
time that a Canadian had won this award) and having the privilege of
being on the bench as Assistant Coach at the 2009 World Junior A
Challenge in Summerside, P.E.I. where he helped coach Team West to a
silver medal. Throughout his career Barry has solidified many
relationships with pro scouts, and college recruiters and is committed
to his players’ education and future endeavors.
